Polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, light rain coat and food. In winter months, dress appropriately in layers that you can peel off as the day warms. Oh, and did I mention polarized sunglasses? Not only do they keep your eyes comfortable, they reflect water glare and allow you to sight fish to cast, and to enjoy the abundant sea life underneath the water surface.
Captain is fishing licensed for up to 4 anglers and Coast Guard licensed for 6 passengers. This means boat can accommodate groups up to 6 with only 4 fishing lines in the water at any one time. Cashiers, North Carolina (July - October) - call or e-mail to arrange. Western North Carolina has extensive wade fishing opportunities for targeting trout on the fly. I guide clients on over 30 rivers and streams, all within a short drive from Cashiers. Depending on the time of year, we fish the Tuckasegee tail-water, the technically challenging Davidson river, Cherokee trophy water, the Panthertown Valley area for brook trout, and countless back-country freestone streams for wild trout. Taking into account your needs, experience level, and physical capabilities, I will make your day an experience you will never forget!
